Brosnan sparks Kennedy Catholic past St. John Villa in girls soccer

Sophomore Kerry Brosnan was on fire, netting four goals in a 6-0 win for the Kennedy Catholic varsity girls soccer team over St. John Villa on Sunday, October 26 in the opening round of the CHSAA playoffs at Kennedy Catholic High School.

Brosnan netted three of her goals in the first half to spring the Gaels to a 5-0 halftime advantage.

Junior Gabriella Vlattas and freshman Breanna Trainor also netted goals for Kennedy.

The Gaels, who are now 14-1-1, will face St. Joseph’s by-the-Sea at 5:30 p.m. at Manhattanville College in the next round of the CHSAA playoffs.
