Volunteer Opportunities

We always need people to help with all the different events.  You can get involved as much or as little as you want.  Have fun and meet great people.  Please contact any of the Chairs at

Below is a list of the organizations and their responsibilities.

1. Athletics – The Athletics Committee is in charge of concessions at all the different sporting events as well as fundraising raffles.
2. Auction – Mark your calendar for an early November event every year!  The Auction is a one of the biggest events of the year.  In addition to the Silent Auction, Chinese Basket Raffle, and our famous Live Auction, dinner and drinks are served.  There are many different ways to get involved; planning, advertising, decorating, donating, working the night of.
3. Fine Arts – This committee helps with the spring musical, concerts, and art show.
4. Hospitality Committee – Provides refreshments at different events throughout the year.
5. Ladies Night Out – Our first year was so successful we’re going to make it an annual event.  We had 200 women at Le Chateau for dinner and shopping!
6. Beautification Committee – Planting seasonal flowers and plants on school grounds.
7. President’s Dinner –  Spring Event which is an important Kennedy fundraiser.  The President’s Dinner brings together family, faculty and alumni for an elegant evening dedicated to recognizing outstanding students and a special honoree.  Everyone enjoys this fun evening with music and dancing.
8. Sunshine Committee – This is a new committee that acknowledges Kennedy families when there is a time for celebration or need.
9. Traveling Bookstore – Sell Kennedy wear and accessories at different events throughout the year.
10. Teacher Appreciation – This committee organizes parents to drop off  “treats” on the last Friday of each month for the faculty.  They also plan a Christmas Celebration.
11. Golf Outing – Fall event which brings together students, parents, friends and alumni for a day of golf and an evening of dinner and prizes.
