Kennedy boys soccer tops Salesian on Senior Day

Kennedy Catholic’s boys soccer team celebrated its Senior Game in style, with a 2-0 win over visiting Salesian on Friday, October 10.

The Gaels, who wore pink jerseys in support of Breast Cancer Awareness, took a 1-0 lead just before halftime when senior Michael Donnelly scored on an assist from sophomore Michael Gilmore.

In the second half, Kennedy added to its lead when senior Eric Lin found the back of the net on a feed from Donnelly.

Kennedy (3-4-2) returns to the field when it travels to St. Raymond’s for a 4 p.m. contest on Friday, October 17.
