Boys hoops wins two games to improve to 4-0

Two more games resulted in two more wins under their belt for the Kennedy Catholic varsity boys basketball team.

The Gaels, who are now 4-0, defeated host Monsignor Farrell 65-55 on Sunday, December 14.

Dom Cristiano sparked the Gaels with a game-high 27 points. Kevin Buron added 11 points, while both Elijah Hughes and Jordan Wright scored seven points apiece.

On Friday, December 12, Kennedy bested visiting Cardinal Spellman 66-56 in its home opener.

The Gaels featured balanced scoring in the victory with Hughes (17 points), Sean Delaney (16 points) and Cristiano (15 points) leading the way.

The varsity team returns to the floor on Saturday, December 20 when they host Xavier at 3 p.m.

Kennedy’s JV team battled valiantly but fell to Spellman 58-56 on Friday, December 12. Mike DiMicco (16 points), Justin Parker (11 points) and Matt Mikulski (10 points) paced the Gaels.
