Announcement: The John F. Kennedy Catholic Preparatory School Hall of Fame Nominations Now Open
The John F. Kennedy Catholic Preparatory School is proud to announce the opening of nominations for the 2025 Hall of Fame Induction. The Kennedy Catholic Hall of Fame was created to honor and celebrate distinguished individuals from our school’s rich history, which spans back to 1924, when St. Mary’s High School first opened its doors.
For nearly a century, the members of the St. Mary’s/Kennedy Catholic community have demonstrated exceptional commitment to God, country, and the common good. Our Hall of Fame recognizes those who have served the school and its students in extraordinary capacities and have achieved excellence in various fields—whether as bishops, businessmen, artists, athletes, physicians, or philanthropists. Each honoree embodies our school’s core belief that all undertakings should ultimately be directed for the greater glory of God.
The inaugural induction ceremony took place in 1996, and additional inductions have been held periodically since then. In 2025, under the leadership of President Rev. Mark Vaillancourt, the school has introduced a formal process for nominating potential inductees. This process allows members of the St. Mary’s/Kennedy Catholic community to submit nominations to the Hall of Fame Committee. The Committee will review all submissions and make recommendations to the Board of Trustees. New inductees will be honored at the Hall of Fame Dinner in May 2025.
Nominations for the 2025 Induction Year are now open as of December 1, 2024. Please note that nominations can be submitted at any time and will be considered by the Hall of Fame Committee.
