Alum shares nursing career experience

Lauren Wolter ’17 always knew she wanted to be a nurse. After graduating from Kennedy, she went on to study at Catholic University and today serves as a Pediatric Bone Marrow Transplant (BMT)/Oncology/Hematology RN at NewYork-Presbyterian Morgan Stanley Children’s Hospital, in New York City.

Her favorite part of nursing is that she’s always learning.

This fall, Lauren returned to campus to meet with students and share her experience in the medical field. The Q and A session was a great opportunity for students interested in this area to learn more about education and career path opportunities.

Thank you, Lauren, for sharing your story. Once a Gael, always a Gael!
