Hailing All Gaels
Today, we are excited to announce the launch of our new capital campaign, Blue and White Funding for Education. Our goal is ambitious but essential: we aim to raise $1.5 million over the next three years to build a fund that will empower Kennedy Catholic to continue offering a high-quality Catholic education to even more students. As you know, the cost of a quality education is rising each year, and we are determined to ensure that financial barriers do not prevent deserving young people from receiving an education that nurtures not only their minds but also their faith.
The plan is simple, raise $500,000 each year for the next three years.
Look at it like this, $10,000 per Class from the classes of 1964 through 2014.
Or even simplier, $100 from 100 members of a class.
Can you see yourself giving $100 a year for the next three years? We hope you can.

Now, more than ever, our students need a solid foundation in both education and faith formation to prepare them to lead in an ever-changing world. Your contribution will directly support scholarships that supplement tuition and enable students to focus on their studies, grow spiritually, and prepare for a life of leadership and service inspired by the Gospel of Christ. Scholarship funding, quite simply, creates opportunities and changes lives. For many of our students, it is the key to attending Kennedy Catholic, and what allows them to pursue their dreams of building a future grounded in faith, knowledge, and purpose.
As you can imagine, the financial pressures on our school are significant. Education costs continue to rise, and we must navigate challenges that arise from both market fluctuations and economic pressures. Having a strong and sustainable Scholarship Fund will give us the flexibility to weather these uncertainties and continue providing a world-class education. The support of our alumni – those who were shaped by this school and its values—is critical in making this possible.
“Class Captains”:
We are working to enlist people as Class Captains. This project is too big and important to
leave it on the backs of about 10 people. Many hands do indeed make light work.
Duties of the Class Captain.
We get that nobody likes to ask other people for money. We are trying to make it easy for you. The role of the Class Captain is simple and you will get support from the Advancement Department.
- The Advancement Team will give you a class list to work from with snail mail addresses, email addresses and phone numbers.
- We suggest first sending a personal email to your entire class group. We can help you write your email and provide you with marketing materials and links.
- A snail mailing can follow when you see which emails did not connect with alumni in your class.
- Phone numbers are available. Make calls to those with whom you are comfortable approaching in that way, especially your closest friends. Encourage them to spread the word to other classmates.
- Make the Advancement Department aware of graduates who may be in the position to become Major Donors ($10k and up).
