Christmas at Kennedy 2023

December has arrived and there is a lot of celebrating to be had during this Advent Season!

The Annual Kennedy Catholic Prep & St. Mary’s Academy Christmas Concert takes place on  December 6th at 7PM in the auditorium. The concert will feature holiday music performed by the Kennedy string ensemble, chorus and band. Students have been working diligently towards a polished performance and we look forward to seeing you there!

The Toys for Tots Drive has been a tremendous success thanks to the overwhelming support and generosity from our community. The bins located outside the library are near overflowing, which will greatly improve the season for many children! The collection ends Friday December 15th.
***

There will be a Dodgeball Tournament open to all grades on Monday December 18th at 6pm in the Gym.

***
There will be an Ugly Sweater Dress Down Day Tuesday December 19th.
Participation is optional and the cost to participate is a $5 fee paid in homeroom. Proceeds support community life initiatives.

***

The Annual Christmas Film viewing will take place on Wednesday December 20th during homeroom.
***
The first day of break is Thursday December 21st and the last day of break is Tuesday January 2nd. School resumes Wednesday January 3rd.

Last but not least…

Student Council is excited to announce the

2023 Christmas Homeroom Door Decoration Contest!

Each homeroom class is permitted to work together to decorate the front and back door of their homeroom for Christmas. The decorations will be judged by an impartial faculty member and the winning homeroom rewarded with a bagel breakfast!

The winning homeroom will be treated to a bagel breakfast sponsored by Student Council in the cafeteria during homeroom on Tuesday December 19th.
