The Kennedy Catholic community donated over 8,000 lbs. to the Northern Westchester Community Center!
Yesterday, Father Vaillancourt blessed all of the donated food at our Mass of Thanksgiving. Today, our student council, staff and volunteers from Salem Landscaping loaded the beds of 5 pick-up trucks and delivered the food to the center in Katonah. At the center, the food was weighed and put on the shelves where it will help support the surrounding communities during the upcoming holiday season.
The center employees were very impressed with the diligence of our student representatives: Eleanor Brown, Giselle Esteves, Joey Grande, Alana Rivera, Tucker Romagnoli and John Urbanowicz. These excellent students are members of the Kennedy Catholic Student Council and were instrumental in the success of this food drive.
We are very grateful to our entire community for the outpouring of support for those less fortunate!
