2021 Golf Classic: Hole In One

By Mairead Dooley, Class of 2022

Thursday, September 30th, I had the pleasure of working with my fellow student council members at the Kennedy Golf Classic. This annual event, which took place at the Mahopac Golf Club, brings together Kennedy alumni, parents of students, members of administration, and friends for a great day of golfing!

The event had an excellent turnout – we checked in 120 guests. Upon arrival, our guests were treated with a delicious breakfast inside the club’s dining area. Each golfer received a custom Kennedy Catholic Prep towel and sleeve of golf balls. Our raffles and 50/50 chances were generously supported by our guests.

Later in the day, dinner was served in the dining room and the veranda. Attendees enjoyed the proceeds of the raffle, engaged in a silent auction, and learned about the Fitness Center that is in the works.

Thanks to the help of our many donors and those who organize the event, we were able to raise nearly $30,000 in net proceeds that will go a long way in supporting Catholic Education here at Kennedy Catholic.
