8 Seniors Sign to Play Ball

Somers, NY – On Wednesday, November 10th 2021, eight Kennedy Catholic Prep seniors signed their letters of commitment to play college baseball.

Head Coach Bob Fletcher has been at the helm of this program for 16 years, along with his two strong assistant coaches. He has built a team that insists on facing the strongest competition and dedicates both on and off-season to improving skills and strength. He is proud of the work his team does in the classroom and on the field and has high hopes for the team’s success this upcoming season. Last year, the elite faced St. Joseph by the Sea in the City Championship and fell. This year, they are determined to show up and show up strong.

Athletic Director Dom Tassone imparted some wisdom to the players before they signed: “Play baseball as long as you can. Cherish the time you have with the game, it goes by fast.”

Pierson McGinnis of Montgomery will play NCAA Division III at Bard College.

Nick Mazzotta of Katonah will play NCAA Division I at Fairleigh Dickinson University.

Ryan Boyd of Millwood will play NCAA Division III at Utica College.

Eddie Galvao of Yorktown Heights will play Athletic Association Division III at Skidmore College.

Gary Gill Hill of Walden will play NCAA Division I at Fairleigh Dickinson University.

Russell Hunter of Croton Harmon will play NCAA Division I at Hofstra University.

Brendan Kenneally of Yorktown Heights will play NCAA Division II at Adelphi University.
