Knights of Columbus Writers Win

Thirty students recently participated in the annual Knights of Columbus (St. Patrick’s Church, Yorktown council) essay contest.

Students wrote about how the Church can evangelize in the digital age. All contestants received certificates, and service hours were awarded in the high school division.  In addition, the winners received monetary awards. Winners from St. Mary’s Academy are Liam Hsu (first place)  and Madison Cullen (second place).
The high school winners are Lucas Hung (first place) and Shawn Nohai (second place).

Congratulations to all students for partaking in this enriching extracurricular opportunity.
