Cameron Crane ’20 is being honored at the International Symposium on Artificial Life and Robotics in Beppu Japan as a part of a team that developed a prototype of a robotic surgical instrument that won a Best Paper Award at WPI.
While at Kennedy Catholic, Cameron competed on a robotics team and earned a medal representing the school while competing on the science Olympiad team. He was a part of the Kennedy Catholic Debate Club, National Honor Society, and Student Government and was a two-time recipient of the Patricia Moore Sportsman Award, serving as captain of the Varsity Tennis team. He concluded his tenure at Kennedy Catholic as a member of the student council who worked to make a quarantine commencement ceremony possible by securing a jumbotron screen to show the speeches and diploma dissemination to families gathered in the parking lot of St. Joe’s observing social distancing.
