Senior Spotlight Series 2022

What schools do Kennedy Catholic Seniors typically apply to?

Every year, High School seniors all over the world apply to college. Within our own school community we see many popular schools crop up. With the early deadline having just passed and the regular deadline quickly approaching, let’s take a look at where Kennedy Catholic seniors often apply.

College is an exciting time and it’s an amazing opportunity for seniors to branch out and choose the schools that most excite them, the places they can really see themselves. I spoke to Mr. MacDonald, Director of College Placement, who was able to provide some application trends he took note of over the past three years.

The top 15 schools he mentioned were:

  • Fordham University
  • Binghamton University
  • Pace University
  • Penn State
  • Siena College
  • Fairfield University
  • Manhattan College
  • Stony Brook University
  • Quinnipiac University
  • Sacred Heart University
  • Iona College
  • Marist College
  • UConn
  • Mercy College
  • University of Scranton.

It’s likely these trends will continue for this year’s class and beyond as Class of 2022 seniors embark on their college journey. With application dates upon us and months going by quickly, we will be sure to update you as enrollment decisions begin.
