The Kennedy Catholic Varsity Softball team clinched their third consecutive CHSAA Tier 1 North Division Title the weekend of May 5th. The action started with an extra inning 11-9 victory at division rival Maria Regina on Friday May 3rd led by Junior Aine Curley’s 4 for 4 day including a solo homerun. Saturday May 4th in Somers, the Gaels swept a division double header over Preston 8-0 and 12-3. Junior Cassidy Moriarity had 3 hits as did Freshman Nina Sanese-Cavone in Game 1 while Marissa Ferrara had 2 hits and 2 RBI’s in Game 2.
