** Exciting PSAT News – Score Reports **

National Merit Scholarship News High Above the National AverageKennedy juniors are wearing a big smile these days.   Christmas break is imminent, and they are proud of their PSAT scores!  According to Mrs. Kelly, teacher of the PSAT course, most students showed very significant improvement over their scores from last year.  She attributes much of this to the hard work so many students put in last year to the new PSAT course.  “This year’s results show that when PSAT stands for Practice, Study Assiduously and Take sample tests, students can improve,” according to Mrs. Kelly.   “The work for the juniors continues, since review of their score report is an excellent way to prepare further for the SAT.”  According to Mr. Schwartz, Director of Guidance, the average Selection Index for this year’s junior class was twelve points higher than the national average for juniors, and higher than that of every junior class since 2004.  Students and parents alike are urged to click on the link below for a review of the score report, and to access additional practice problems.
