A heartfelt thanks to all of you who have joined us in the past and we look forward to your support of this year’s President’s Dinner. Our honorees are true examples of Christian Service and testaments to the values of Catholic Education.
In addition to the Lux Christi Award, Divine Compassion Award, and Teacher of the Year honorees, we are so very proud to honor our Students of Excellence. They are truly “strong and committed Christian leaders who are determined to make a difference for Christ in our world and in the lives of others.”
As always, our Catholic faith is strong, our future bright, and thanks to your support, the next generation of Gaels are ready to make their mark on the world.
Lux Christi Award
Awarded to those who have demonstrated the very best that Catholic Education has to offer.
This year, we are honoring the Class of 1974 Blue and White Fund Ambassadors.
Divine Compassion Award
The Divine Compassion Award is given annually to a staff member, parent, or alumni whose life embraces our school’s core virtues of Courage and Compassion.
Founded in 1924 as St. Mary’s School, the sisters of Divine Compassion became the bedrock of Catholic education in our area. It was the sisters, first at St. Mary’s and then at Kennedy, who taught generations of young people by word and deed about the gospel of Jesus Christ. The Divine Compassion medal was established to recognize someone who embodies their spirit of Christian compassion and a love of learning.
Lisa and Patrick Sherry will be accepting the award on behalf of their daughter, Olivia Sherry ’19.
