Kennedy Arts Studio
Preschool Program for Ages 3-5
Inspiring Young Minds Through Art, Creativity & Thoughtful Learning
99 Valley Road, Katonah
Program Overview
The Kennedy Arts Studio offers a thoughtfully designed, part-time preschool program for children ages 3–5 who are ready to explore, create, and grow in a calm, enriching environment. Our program is a small, intentional learning community that provides a structured preschool experience centered on learning, imagination, and meaningful enrichment.
Led by an experienced educator with a Master’s degree in Elementary Education and Montessori training, the program ensures that each child is supported, challenged, and inspired through purposeful, hands-on experiences and artistic exploration.
Our mission is to nurture imaginative, self-assured, and curious thinkers while fostering independence, connection, and a genuine joy for learning.
Daily Rhythm & Enrichment
Children gather at midday (12:00 PM) to enjoy lunch together, fostering independence, social connection, and a strong sense of community. The afternoon begins with circle time and a focused lesson, followed by intentional, child-centered experiences that encourage exploration, creative expression, and sustained engagement. Children also participate in a structured work period designed to build independence and support skill development.
From 2:15–2:45 PM each day, children engage in a rotating, arts-based enrichment block designed to spark imagination, movement, and self-expression:
- Monday: Italian
- Tuesday: Cooking
- Wednesday: Science
- Thursday: Art
- Friday: Movement
The day concludes at 3:00 PM, with children leaving feeling accomplished, connected, and inspired.
